Visiting a new church can feel intimidating. We want you to know what to expect before arriving at Abide Church, from finding the building and checking in your children to worship, preaching, prayer, and meeting new people.

Getting Here
Abide Church is conveniently located about five minutes east of Downtown Park Rapids. Travel east on Highway 34 for approximately three miles. You will find us on the right-hand side of the highway.
Look for our sign and log-sided building tucked among the beautiful pines. Find a parking spot and head through the front doors. We have been preparing for your arrival and cannot wait to meet you.
Upon Arrival
As you step through the doors, you will be greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Our greeters are ready to welcome you, answer questions, and help you find your way around.
The sanctuary is located to your right after entering the building. Instead of traditional pews, the sanctuary has comfortable padded chairs.
Worship
Worship begins promptly at 10:00 a.m., so arrive a little early to find a seat and meet a few people before the music starts.
Our contemporary worship time usually includes three to five songs. Feel free to participate in whatever way feels natural to you, whether that means standing, sitting, raising your hands, or quietly reflecting. Come as you are as we worship Jesus together.
Welcome & Announcements
After worship, we share a brief welcome and announcements about upcoming events, important updates, and opportunities to get involved.
We also invite everyone to complete a connection card. Whether you are visiting for the first time or regularly attend, it helps us stay connected, understand your needs, and support you. You can access the card through the Forms menu or scan the QR code displayed in the sanctuary.
Children's Ministry
We love having children join us on Sunday mornings. Nursery care is available for newborns through age four, with Bible lessons, singing, and playtime.
On the third and fourth Sundays of the month, children in kindergarten through fourth grade begin upstairs with the congregation for worship before heading downstairs for Bible teaching, small-group activities, games, and prayer.
Check in your children after entering through the front doors and walking past the fireplace. You will receive a security tag to use during pickup. Please hold on to the tag, as we take children's safety seriously.
Nursing mothers are also welcome to use the comfortable Littles Care Room across the hall from the restrooms for privacy and convenience.
Sermon
During the sermon, you can expect relevant and impactful preaching that addresses life's challenges and your personal walk with Jesus.
Our sermons are rooted in the timeless truths of the Bible, which we hold as the ultimate authority for our lives. Each message offers practical guidance through a biblical lens as we trust God's Word and the work of the Holy Spirit to transform lives.
Our goal is to encourage, challenge, and equip you to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ.
Prayer Ministry & Closing
Near the end of the service, we invite you to receive prayer from our prayer ministry team. Whether you need comfort, healing, guidance, or simply someone to listen, we are here to support you.
